The Benefits
of Preventive Maintenance
Consider this: Preventive
Maintenance is the same as shining your shoes, or flossing your teeth,
or the bi-annual teeth cleaning at your dentist.
No
vehicle, whether it's brand new, late-model or a few years old, is
exempt from preventive maintenance, if only because of how each vehicle
is driven, the climate and/or the road conditions.
Our
factory trained technician's job, is to not only maintain your vehicle
at the recommended intervals, but to help prolong the life of your
vehicle's mechanical systems.
Brake
Servicing
At the top of the list is the
braking system. Cliché but true, if you can't stop, don't start. This is
the single most important system in your vehicle. You cannot check a
brake system while the vehicle is on the ground, you must remove all 4
wheels and inspect each brake at regular intervals. In most cases,
regular brake checks can effectively double the longevity of the
pads.
Oil Change
What's
the secret to good preventive maintenance? Clean oil. Regular engine oil
changes are vital to the life of your engine. But there are numerous
other oils in your vehicle; transmission fluids, differential fluid,
brake fluid, power steering fluid, antifreeze/coolant fluid, etc. Our
job is to ensure that these fluids are monitored and changed as
recommended and required. Dirty and contaminated fluids can lead to
expensive and unnecessary repair bills if left
uncorrected.
Tire Servicing
Tires and correct tire pressure are
essential to safety and fuel economy. Regular tire rotation and
alignment, will add to the life of your tires. Our nitrogen fill system
is no charge and increases fuel economy along with tire
longevity.
Vehicle
Inspection
Last but not least, while your vehicle is
on the hoist we also inspect your complete electrical system, (battery,
wipers/washer system, lights, etc.) and suspension system, (shocks,
struts, power steering components and linkages.)
FIVE
STAR SERVICE for your vehicle is our
goal.
